When you first go gluten free you learn very quickly that gluten free bread normally doesn't taste very good and the pieces of bread are very tiny. This was really sad for me as I love sandwiches, especially grilled cheese. After trying many different brands I finally found one that would make the perfect grilled cheese. It is the LiveGFree brand from Aldi's.
To start off you are going to want to take room temperate butter and butter 1 side of 2 pieces of bread. After that you're going to want to add 1 piece of your bread to a warm pan and add whatever cheese you would like on top of it. I choose a finely shredded 3 cheese Mexican blend. Next add your second piece of bread on top of the cheese and let it cook for about 5 minutes or so on medium heat until it is cooked to your liking. After you flip it over, let it cook for another 5 or so minutes until the other side is cooked to your liking. After that, you can remove it from the pan as your grilled cheese is done! I enjoy pairing mine with some homemade tomato soup. Come back next week where I will be sharing how I make my tomato soup, so keep an eye out.
